Fill-The-Boot Toll Road Supports Mathews-Dickey
The St. Louis Fire Department hosted their 17th annual Fill-The-Boot Toll Road effort again on May 22-24 to benefit the Mathews Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club.
“I hope our work motivates others to takes a few hours of their time to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Dennis Jenkerson, chief, St. Louis City Fire Department. “I am a supporter of programs that foster education and training services, especially those that work with our youth like the Mathews-Dickey.
“We are proud to partner with the St. Louis City Fire Department to keep kids safe, especially during the summer months while their parents are away at work,” said Martin Mathews, president & co-founder, Mathews-Dickey.
Proceeds benefit the Mathews-Dickey Sports Program, which brings families together and fosters strong character in young people through “America’s Past-time” Baseball, Hoops Basketball, Bulldog Football, Swimming and more. The Club annually provides educational, athletic and cultural enrichment programs to more than 40,000 young people from throughout the St. Louis-metropolitan area, and is a United Way member agency.
