Girls' Program members were transformed into “snow fairies,” for the Sheer Elegance Fashion Show, 2002 15th Annual Sheer Elegance Fashion Show The Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club will present its 15th Annual Sheer Elegance Fashion Show, Saturday, December 6, 2003, at the illustrious Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown St. Louis. The holiday affair, sponsored by Famous-Barr, celebrates the Club’s efforts in helping children realize a promising tomorrow. The Sheer Elegance Fashion Show, held annually since 1989 to benefit the Mathews-Dickey Girls’ Program, has blossomed under the gentle, steadfast guidance of a remarkable group of staff, volunteers and corporate sponsors. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Sheer Elegance Fashion show will attrack 1,400 attendees — celebrities, community leaders and citizens committed to the St. Louis’ young people and to guiding them along the difficult path to adulthood. Sheer Elegance is certainly a fitting tribute to those supporters and the countless lives they have touched. Themed “The Belles of Christmas,” the 2003 gala is chaired by Debra Denham, vice president community affairs, BJC Healthcare.
