Mathews-Dickey Celebrates “Oh Christmas Tree” at Sheer Elegance NO.17 Fashion Show
Mathews-Dickey celebrated “Oh Christmas Tree” for the Sheer Elegance No.17 Fashion Show in December 2006 at the Adam's Mark Hotel.
Chaired by Country Hills Academy Education Administrator Dr. Mary Ellen Burford. Via a live and video presentation, the 17 Girls’ Program Honorees brought to life a Christmas on stage to showcase the Club’s full range of programs, including health, tutoring, career readiness, leadership, sports and more. Entering guests were greeted by a roving Christmas tree character and the evergreen stood out in an 11-foot gold backdrop with young women’s silhouettes as branches, lighting patterns illuminating the ballroom, special jewelry gifts for major sponsor tables and Nettie’s Flower Garden’s donated centerpieces. The crowd was awestruck by the appearance of the Branches a legion of elementary-school aged girls dressed as mini Christmas trees!

KTVI Fox 2’s Bonita Cornute and KMOV’s Richelle Carey made 21 door prize winners very happy with their announcements to open the show.
