The Sky Is The Limit Career-Readiness Program

“The Sky Is The Limit“ is a career-readiness luncheon and workshop for 250 young women from the St. Louis and Metro East areas, involving junior-high and high-school participants from Mathews-Dickey and 17 area school districts: Clayton, East St. Louis, Ferguson-Florissant, Hazelwood, Kirkwood, Ladue, Lindbergh, Mehlville, Normandy, Parkway, Pattonville, Ritenour, Riverview Gardens, Rockwood, St. Charles, St. Louis Public Schools and Webster Groves.
“Women in Careers” - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Saint Louis University’s Boeing Institute of International Business, located within the John Cook School of Business, 3674 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108.
The keynote address will be provided by Annetta Nunn, the first African-American woman to serve as police chief for the City of Birmingham, Ala. and a 30-year veteran of the department. The emcee is KMOX Radio Total Information AM Co-Host Debbie Monterrey.

In honor the event’s 10th anniversary, Roberta Cohen, community volunteer and wife of KMOV-TV, Channel 4 GM Allan Cohen, will serve as keynote speaker and SBC Senior VP Regulatory Compliance Priscilla Hill-Ardoin has been invited to provide special remarks. KMOV News Anchor Vickie Newton will serve as emcee.
