Football
More than 1,000 Bulldog football players and cheerleaders tackle the opposition and are perennial favorites in the national tournaments. Mathews-Dickey teams comprise 15 percent of the Junior Football League. The Club was the first training site of the St. Louis Rams when they moved to St. Louis. Baseball
The Club’s first sport is still thriving today and includes Tee-Ball, Khoury, Police Action League (PAL) and Reviving Baseball in the Innner-cities (RBI) components. Almost every city park is occupied by our 250 teams. A highlight was hosting the 1998-99 Reviving Baseball in the Inner-City (RBI) South Regional Tournament in St. Louis. Special thanks to Cardinals Care and Major League Baseball for serving as major sponsors of RBI.

Girls’ Basketball
One thousand young women within a 200-mile radius keep the courts busy and attract college recruiters to Hoops Basketball. Hundreds of youth on the Boys’ & Co-Ed PeWee Basketball teams heat up the courts during the winter months. A highlight was hosting the NCAA Youth Education in Sports Clinic at the Club in 2001.

The life-saving skills young people learn in CPR and first-aide training prepares them to earn positions as lifeguards.

Tennis
Tennis is a popular sport for youth during the summer months. The courts were recently renovated thanks to a contribution by Richard Casey and Robert Grote.
